Website care questions, answered
Do you look after websites hosted elsewhere?
Yes. Website care works whether your site is hosted with Galactik Hosting or another provider, as long as we have the access we need.
What access do you need?
Usually admin access to your website and, depending on the platform, hosting, server or store access. We tell you exactly what we need after you choose a plan.
What is not covered by a monthly plan?
Major repairs, recovery after a serious incident, redesigns and new features are quoted separately unless your plan says otherwise. Each plan lists its allowances for minor changes and uploads.
Do you care for online shops?
Yes. Our Shopify plans cover cart and checkout testing, with monthly product uploads on higher plans, and WordPress Business plans include basic checkout and payment testing where your platform allows it.
Is pricing the same for every platform?
No. Each platform has its own plans, because the work involved is different. Custom-built systems such as Laravel, CodeIgniter and Next.js vary with size and complexity, so we confirm the right plan and any extra work with you before you start.
What if my platform is not listed?
Send us your website address. If we can support it, we will tell you which plan fits. If not, we will say so honestly.
